Organic JAS certified matcha made with domestically produced first-flush tea leaves will be released on October 12th!
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new product, “VEBABOO Organic Matcha Ceremonial Grade 50g,” available from October 12, 2026.
This product is made from domestically grown first-harvest tea leaves and is certified under Japan's Organic JAS standards. It features a vibrant green color and a smooth, refined taste, with a harmonious balance of rich umami, aromatic notes, and mild bitterness. When carefully whisked with hot water, it offers a simple and authentic way to enjoy matcha's natural color, aroma, and umami. It can also be enjoyed as an everyday beverage or prepared in a variety of ways, including matcha lattes.
“Ceremonial Grade” is not an officially established grade or certification. Rather, it is a term commonly used in overseas markets to describe high-quality matcha intended for drinking, allowing consumers to appreciate its natural color, aroma, and umami. We have chosen to use the term “Ceremonial Grade” for this product to help international visitors to Japan easily recognize it as a high-quality matcha.
